Cary Friedman has been in video production for more than twenty-five years, working with some of the world’s foremost media organizations. 

Cary worked at CBS Boston as a production specialist for eight years. He was assigned to broadcast programs that ranged from political, to entertainment, news, documentary, and commercials.   He contributed to more than half of the station’s award winning programs. Cary has also worked on specials for ABC News, NBC Sports, Phil Donahue, and CBS Programming.

After leaving CBS, he spent ten years managing projects for high profile national media producers such as: American Film Institute, Christian Science Monitor, EMC, Sony and Avid. Partners during those years included: McNeil-Lehrer, Lifetime Cable Channel, The New England, Prentiss-Hall, and PBS.  

Eight years ago, he started ClarkPond, a place for small businesses looking to tell their story cost effectively. He has produced media for a range of clients, from Harvard University and Montserrat College of Art, to high-tech & small businesses, to the arts community and local non-profits.  As a producer, director, and cinematographer,  he creates a broad range of content for a diverse clientele.  Using his significant experience, he is able to produce high quality content while remaining affordable for small businesses.


Lisa Campbell Friedman has been in the educational multimedia and television broadcast industry for more than 25 years.  She has worked in the production of multimedia science curriculum, educational interactive telecommunications, cable television network management and commercial broadcasting. She brings a unique understanding of the many production pieces that bring the video together.  
 

From 2001 to 2012, Lisa was Director of Multimedia Production for Sea Research Foundation’s and National Geographic’s The JASON Project.  She was responsible for science videos – both online and DVD production – from concept through distribution.  Lisa also directed JASON Live!, a series of interactive, live science webcasts. 

As a television studio director, she has been active in distance learning and interactive live broadcasts.  Her other directing projects have included television commercials, nationally syndicated talk shows, and major corporate events.  Previously, Lisa was at the heart of the television production process as a director of news and special events at WHDH-TV in Boston.  She directed the 6 and 11 p.m. newscasts. In her fourteen years there, she directed the coverage for major events in Boston, and won an Emmy Award for news director and entertainment specials.
 

Most recently, Lisa has consulted with the Office of Education and Outreach at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History to produce and direct a live webcast series, the first series of its kind for the museum. Lisa has also just completed a video series for National Geographic Learning, for English Language Learners worldwide.
